The mulberries are ripe! Since moving to the Midwest I have loved to go foraging for mulberries. They grow on trees and can normally be found at the edge of hiking or biking paths. Well this year we have discovered several near our house and one even in our back woods!! They are a delicious snack that is similar to a sweet blackberry, just not as tart.
